Locus City Guide - Kala Ghoda
Locus creates beautifully crafted, fold-out, mini-guides to neighbourhoods in major cities across India. These pocket-friendly maps offer a handpicked experience of the city and a handy tool for tourists visiting for the first time.
The brief was to capture the vibrant neighbourhood of Kala Ghoda, which bridges old world charm, art galleries, cafes and financial institutions. This area also houses some of Mumbai’s most iconic architecture. The design processes started by placing the content within the folds/grid of the brochure. Then building minimal illustrations to sit beside the content. To create a design that was visually exciting as it unraveled, as well as easy for the eye to navigate.
